Connie R (Huff) Hess

Connie R. Hess, 100, of Charlestown, IN, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2020 at River Crossing Assisted Living in Charlestown.

She was born on November 29, 1919 to Irvine and Susan Gay Huff in Confluence, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Hess and son, Michael Sparrow. She was a retired telephone operator for South Central Bell and a Catholic.

Connie is survived by her daughter, Christine (Danny) Freidman Campbell of Columbis, SC, daughter-in-Law, Sandra (Darrell) Basham of Marysville, IN;   granddaughter, Jessica (Josh) Hendricks of St. Louis, MO;  great-granddaughters, Stella Hendricks and Mia Hendricks;  great-grandson, Graham Hendricks; niece, Helen Stepp of Guston, KY, friend, Faye Briley of Jeffersonville, IN and her extended family of 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Funeral Services will be at 12:00 pm on Wednesday September 16, 2020 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 10:00 am on Wednesday.
