Cody William Thomasson

Cody William Thomasson, 44, of Henryville, IN. passed away on Tuesday morning, February 18, 2025, in Scottsburg, IN.

Cody was born on September 30, 1980, to Darrell and Lynn Curtis Thomasson in Jeffersonville, IN.  Cody was a truck driver, and a US Army veteran, he loved the outdoors, spending time hunting, fishing, playing guitars with his family, and playing with his grandkids.  Cody received many certificates and had articles written about his outdoor hobbies. He was featured in Boone and Crockett, Field and Stream, Pope and Young, and Buck Masters, and scored some of the highest deer shot in Indiana.  He also enjoyed cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles, North Carolina Tar Heels, and Ohio State sports.

Left to cherish Cody’s memories are his loving wife Becky Dinger Thomasson, his father Darrell Thomasson, his children, Courtney, Brook, Parker, Hayden, Bentlee, and Ethan; brothers, Bub Thomasson and wife Donna, and Brandon Thomasson and wife Elyssa; his grandchildren, Presleigh, River, Bryer, Orion, and Noah.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lynn.

Military Honors and flag presentation will be held at 4:00 pm also on Monday, March 3, 2025.

A Life Celebration gathering will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025, from noon until 7:00 pm, at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown.
