Mr. Hooker died Monday May 26, 2008 at Clark Memorial Hospital.
He was born on August 13, 1939 in Bethlehem, Indiana the son of Curtis and Opal Smith Hooker. He was a former laborer and a member of the Sunnyside Assembly of God in Jeffersonville, IN.
He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Hooker.
Survivors include his son; Douglas Hooker of Madison, IN, daughters; Opal Newton and Theresa Bramblett both of Louisville, KY and Evelyn Lee of Deputy, IN, sisters; Eleanor Ullrich and Cammie Russell both of Jeffersonville and Ruth Atwell of Shepherdsville, KY and 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
