Clifford Cochran, 83, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at Green Valley Health & Rehab in Carrollton, KY.
He was born on April 9, 1927 to Carson and Rosa Lee Atwood Cochran in Charlestown, IN. He was a Marine Veteran of WWII, a retired cabinet maker for the former Morris’ Cabinet in Clarksville, IN, and a member of the Open Door Baptist Church in Carrollton, KY. He enjoyed making picnic tables and other woodworking items, and enjoyed reading his bible. He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife; Lavaughna Turner Cochran; second wife; Dorothy Tetrick Cochran; daughter; Carol Ann Hammond; two sisters; and three brothers.
Survivors include his daughter; Cheryl Mahoney of Carrollton, KY; Grandsons; Wayne Couch of Carrollton, KY, and Nick Hall of Union, KY; great-grandchildren; Shy Couch and Alex Hall; sister; Elvie May of Jeffersonville, IN and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 18, 2011 at 1:30pm at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, with burial in the Hibernia Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday after 9am.
