Clell B. Hooker, Jr. of Charlestown, IN passed away on Friday June 24, 2016 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, IN.
Clell was born on February 17, 1922 in Clark County, IN to Clell and Julia Ross Hooker. He was a retired security guard at Jeff Boat in Jeffersonville, IN, a member of the Charlestown Christian Church, Blazing Star Masonic Lodge #226, charter member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #597 and the Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lessie Hooker; sisters, Virginia Graves and Angel Kolter; brothers, Leo Hooker and John Louis Hooker.
Survivors include his sons, Terry Hooker (Myrna) of Charlestown and Kevin Hooker (Shirley) of Otisco, grandchildren, Kayla Hooker, Angela Martin and Tiffany Propes; great grandchildren, Sean Martin, Ava Propes and Maci Propes.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday June 28, 2016 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 4 pm to 8 pm and after 9 am on Tuesday.
Masonic services will be held at 7 pm on Monday. Military services will be performed at the cemetery by American Legion Post 335 and V.F.W. Post 1427
