Mrs. Rhoten was born on September 7, 1918 to John H. and Maggie Schafer Helzer in Otisco, IN and died on February 17, 2007 at Providence Retirement Home. She was a 66 year member of the Clark County Homemakers Club and a 51 year member of the Marysville Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Jennings Rhoten and her son Melvin Rhoten. Survivors include her children, Everett Leon (Loretta) Rhoten, Carl David Rhoten and Steve Larry Rhoten and Esther (Larry) Wheeler. There are 10 Grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
