Clarence Earl Stines

Clarence Earl Stines, 92 of Charlestown, IN, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2008 at Riverbend Assisted Living in Jeffersonville, IN.
He was born on May 15, 1916 in Ellettsville, IN the son of Lee Roy and Loyce Ethel Everman Stines who preceded him in death. Also, he was preceded in death by his wife Ruby Azalee Freeman Stines, a daughter Wilma Jean Jackson, and a son Larry Dean Stines. Mr. Stines worked in the Payroll Dept. at the Louisville office of Standard Oil of California.
Survivors include his two brothers, Lee Barton Stines, Nashville, IN and Glenn Stines, Bloomington, IN; two sisters, Louise Kompst, Bloomington, IN and Ruth Miller, Spencer, IN; three grandchildren, Brenda Kay Sheehan, Charlestown, IN, Amy Rachelle Lee and Brian Dean Stines of Corydon, IN; 6 great-grandchildren.
