Clarence Elbert Jackson, age 71, of Charlestown passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at his residence.
He was born August 31, 1940 in Harlan County, KY the son of Elbert and Lucy Rose Hampton Jackson. Mr. Jackson was a retired Tool and Die Maker for Koehler Inc. in Louisville and member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Charlestown.
Survivors include his wife Jeanetta Jackson; sons, Rickie Jackson(Annette), Charlestown, Tony Jackson(Susan), Salem, IN and Ronnie Jackson(Carolyn), Jeffersonville, IN; brother, Donald Jackson(Joyce), Joliet, IL; grandchildren, Chris Jackson(Stacy), Kyra Moses(Andrew), Adrea Harris(John), Katie Jackson, Bailie Jackson and Tyler Jackson; great-grandchild, Brody Jackson.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at 2:00PM at the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 12:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home, Charlestown and after 1:00 P.M. Sunday until time of service at the church.
