Mrs. Long was born on January 2, 1928 in Clark County, IN and passed away on Monday morning May 25, 2009 at Floyd Memorial Hospital.
She was a former store clerk in numerous local businesses. She was a member of the North Charlestown Church Of God and VFW Post 1427 and American Legion Post 335 ladies auxiliaries
She was preceded in death by her daughter Margaret Lush.
She is survived by her husband Everett Long; daughter; Wanda Vest of Charlestown, sons; Charlie and George Roberts both of Charlestown. Step-son Randall Long of Hanover, 16 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
