Clara Wanda Fitzgerald, 80, of Marysville, IN, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Kindred Healthcare in Sellersburg, IN.
She was born on May 31, 1934 to William and Ivy Gibson in Dixon, KY. She was a cook for Ray Parella’s in Jeffersonville, IN. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Fitzgerald, and a son, Jess Stepp.
Survivors include her daughters, Nancy Stewart of Dixon, KY, Vickey K. Hodges of Charlestown, IN, and Sharon Gale Roberts of FL; sons, Paul W. Yates of FL, Daniel Stepp of Marysville, IN, Milo Stepp of New Albany, IN, and Jeremy Stepp of Charlestown, IN; step-sons, Richard Fitzgerald of Marysville, IN, Michael Fitzgerald of Clarksville, IN, Robert Fitzgerald of Sellersburg, IN; step-daughters, Lisa Kendrick of Charlestown, IN, Teresa Aquirre of Marysville, IN, Tammy Griffin of Clarksville, IN, and Janet Greenleaf of New Washington, IN; 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 10am at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, with burial in the Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville, IN. Visitation will begin on Friday from 2pm to 6pm, and after 9am on Saturday.
