Cheryl Beres Drummond

Cheryl Beres Drummond, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2025, in Clarksville, Indiana, at the age of 80. Born on November 24, 1944, in Cleveland, Ohio, Cheryl was a beacon of warmth and kindness throughout her life.

She dedicated much of her career working alongside her beloved husband, Edward Drummond, in their auto parts retail store, where she served as a diligent bookkeeper. Her work ethic was matched only by her love for connecting with people. A well-known resident of Charlestown, Cheryl had a remarkable ability to engage with those around her, never meeting a stranger. Her joyous spirit and loving nature extended beyond her human connections; she was also an ardent dog lover, whose heart swelled with affection for her four-legged friends.

Cheryl's generosity was boundless. She found purpose in sharing her Jehovah’s Witness ministry, a commitment that enriched her life and the lives of others until her health began to decline last year. Beyond her spiritual pursuits, she cherished the joys of life: traveling to warm destinations, camping under the stars, and indulging in Caribbean cruises. Some of her most treasured moments were spent with her grandsons, Caleb, Samuel, Levi, and Isaac, as well as her nephews and nieces, making memories that will forever stay etched in their hearts. Her neighborhood was graced by her caring spirit, as she showered love and attention not only on her family but also on all the children around her.

Cheryl will be deeply missed by her living family and friends, including her daughter Michelle Roeder (Randy), her son Ed Drummond (Cyra-Lea), her brother Edward Timothy Beres (Mary Jane), her sister Sally Couch (Andrew), and her grandsons, Caleb, Samuel, Levi Roeder, and Isaac Drummond. These loved ones carry forward her legacy of compassion and warmth.

Cheryl is looking forward to be reunited with her beloved husband Edward Drummond, along with her parents Edward and Marcella Cullen Beres, who preceded her in death.
