Charles Stanley Turner, 85, of Charlestown, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at Kentuckiana Medical Center.
He was born on February 18, 1929 to Charlie and Elsie (Goforth) Turner in Clark Co., IN. He was retired from Belknap Inc. in Louisville, KY, member of the Hibernia Christian Church, avid gardener, and loved the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brother, and 3 sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Jeannetta (Webb) Turner of Charlestown, IN; daughter, Vickie Hargett (David) of Henryville, IN; grandson, Joshua Hargett (Nichole) of Sellersburg, IN; great-granddaughter, Ashlynn Hargett of Sellersburg, IN.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 11am at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, with burial to follow in the Hibernia Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, from 4pm to 8pm and after 9am on Wednesday.
Expressions of sympathy can be made to the Hibernia Christian Church.
