Charles Terry Pierce

Charles Terry Pierce, 76, of Charlestown, IN, passed away on Monday, November 30, 2020 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville.

He was born on November 7, 1944 in Madison, IN to the late Chan and Evelyn Wiggam Pierce. In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his great-grandchild, Kai Overfield.

Terry was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, North Charlestown Church of God and a Kentucky Colonel. He was retired employee of General Electric in Louisville, KY and a 16 year Democratic member of the Charlestown City Council.

Terry is survived by his loving wife, Donna Pierce of Charlestown;  sons, Terry (Jo Ann) Pierce; Michael Pierce both of Charlestown; sisters, Linda Siewert and  Joyce Siewert both of New Washington;  brother, Gary Pierce of Louisville;  grandchildren, Savannah Horine, Alissa Curtis,and Sidney (Bradley) Smith; great-grandchildren, Rylee York, Bryton Horine, Alannah Curtis, Colten Smith, Iva Curtis, Barrett Smith, Lorelei Overfield, Ruby Curtis and Leia Overfield.

Funeral Services will be at 3 pm on Friday, December 4, 2020 at the Grayson Funeral Home with burial to follow at Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Friday at the Grayson Funeral Home.
