Charlestown

Rev. Charles Earl Morgan, Ph.d 78, of Greenville, IN, and formerly of Charlestown, IN passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, KY.  He was born on September 13, 1942 in Kentucky to Cecil and Faye Watson Morgan.

Earl was a farmer and former pastor at several local churches including Merrimac Christian Church, Hibernia Christian Church and Highland Park Christian Church from where he retired and was currently an Elder.  He was preceded in death by his parents;  brothers, Everett Morgan, Norman Morgan and Damon Morgan.

Earl is survived by his wife, Marsha Morgan,  sons, Mark Morgan of Charlestown and Paul (Kimberly) Morgan of Charlestown;  daughter, Jennifer (Jason) Cook of Charlestown;  Step-sons, Jason Nash of Huntington Beach, CA and Doc (Misti) Nash of Pekin, IN;  grandson, Curtis (Carissa) Morgan grandson, Kyle (Tara) Morgan, granddaughter, Courtney Morgan, grandson, Clay (Alexis) Morgan, granddaughter, Tinsley Cook, granddaughter, Tienna Cook, grandson, Peyton Nash, grandson, Kasym Nash and grandson, Kylan Nash.

Life Celebration Services will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial to follow at Hibernia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday and after 10:00 am on Saturday.
