Charles “Chuck” Edward Lindley, 64, of Clarksville, IN, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2016 at Clark Memorial Hospital.
He was born on July 17, 1952 to Robert and Martha Joan Lindley in Lebanon, IN. He was an Army Veteran, worked at Kirk & Blum in the maintenance department in Louisville, KY, and member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union. He enjoyed working and fixing just about anything; loved playing cards especially euchre, and loved his grandchildren and had a love for animals. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Patricia Ann Lindley, and his sister, Beverly Piper.
Survivors include his son, Brian Lindley of Pekin, IN and daughter, Tisha Jones (J.R.) of Nabb, IN; sisters, Angela Beeler (Ray) of Sugar Grove, IL, and Bobbi Jo Manning of Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Jessica, Ryan, and Shelby; brother-in-law, Terry Piper; aunt, Sue Lindley; uncle, Steve Lindley.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 1 pm at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, with burial to follow in the Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Friday from 1pm to 8pm, and after 9am on Saturday.
