Charles Sidney Kahl

Charles Sidney Kahl, 71 of Lexington, IN passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg, IN.
Mr. Kahl was born February 7, 1944 in Clark County, IN the son of George Albert and Mary Alliene Moore Kahl. He retired after 36 years of service with General Electric in Louisville. He was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Otisco and enjoyed fishing, playing cards, gardening and mushroom hunting.
Survivors include his daughters, Annetta K. Robinson of Scottsburg, IN and Cristia Jene Unrein of Salmon, Idaho; son, Douglas Kahl of Sellersburg, IN; companion, Shirley Sharp of Scottsburg; brothers, Melvin Harmon of Louisville, George Kahl and Donnie Kahl both of Otisco and Maurice Kahl of Jeffersonville; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Doris Carlisle and Marge McMillen.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at the Emmanuel United Methodist Church with visitation from 12 noon until time of services.
