Charles Dewey Jones

Charles Dewey Jones, 68 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Friday July 14, 2017 at his home.
He was born on June 16, 1949 in Jeffersonville, IN to Buford and Irma Moore Jones. Charles was a retired sprayer for Kitchen Kompact in Jeffersonville, an honorably discharged army veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of the American Legion Post 335 and a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Jones and brother in law Stephen Graebe.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Combs Jones; daughter, Jennifer Lee Horton (Larry) of Nabb, IN; son, Jamie D. Jones of Sellersburg, IN; father, Buford Jones and mother Irma Smith both of Charlestown; brothers; Ronnie Jones (Retha) and Donnie Jones (Regina) both of Charlestown; sisters, Dedra Graebe of Charlestown, IN and Janice Raney (Terry) of Marysville, IN; grandchildren, Garrett, Gracie and MacKenzie Krouse, Drew Jones and Brandon Horton.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday July 18, 2017 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Hibernia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 pm to 8 pm on Monday and after 9 am on Tuesday.
