Charles “Rog” B. Gregory, 75, of Charlestown , IN entered the gates of Heaven on April 27, 2011 at Clark Memorial Hospital .
He was born on Sept. 17, 1935 in Scalf , KY the son of Roger and Nellie Trent Gregory. Charles was part owner of Webb’s Body Shop in Charlestown , IN , a member of Main Cross Baptist Church in Charlestown , and former member of Salt Gum Baptist Church in Scalf , KY. He enjoyed spending time with his family, woodworking, fishing, and sharing his love for his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Genevieve Carnes Gregory; daughters Helen J. Webb (John), Pamela Combs, and Melissa Pendley (Michael); Grandchildren Johnna Webb, Matt Webb (Becky), Nicholas Shaw (Toni), Charla Petty (Sean), & Micah Jo Pendley; great grandchildren Layne, Becca, Valerie, Wyatt, Courtney, Jack, and Ella; brother Fred Gregory; Sisters Marie Broughton and Nellie (Bud) Smith and many brothers and sisters in Christ.
Funeral services will be held on Sat. April 30, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Main Cross Baptist Church in Charlestown , IN with burial in the Charlestown Cemetery . Visitation will be on Friday from 3-8 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown , IN and Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
Expressions of sympathy can be made in honor of Charles to the Main Cross Baptist Church Building Fund at 145 Main Cross Charlestown , IN 47111.
