Charles Gilbert Friess

Dr. Charles Gilbert "Bootsie" Friess, Jr., age 67, passed away Sunday at Hardin Memorial Hospital.He was a native of Louisville,KY.and retired in 2004 from dentistry from his Hodgenville and Hew Haven practices. Prior to practicing dentistry he worked with DuPont Chemical in Louisville, KY. for 10 years. He is a University of Louisville graduate with a B.S. in Commerce (1965) and a Doctor of Dental Medicine (1976). He is a member of St. James Catholic Church in Elizabethtown, Ky., and a member of the Lions Club of LaRue Co., KY. Survivors include his wife Anita A. DeMoss Friess, daughter, Julie Marie Friess Cox (Derrick Wade), sisters, Barbara Ann Beach and Patricia Schmidt, brother, Robert Friess and grandson, Gilbert Wade Cox. Expressions of sympathy are to go to the Crusade for Children, Kosairs Childrens Hospital, or donors favorite charity.
