Mr. Burress passed away on Monday, March 9, 2009 at Wedgewood Healthcare Center.
He was born on December 26, 1937 in Clark County, IN the son of William and Leona Hyde Burress who preceded him in death. Mr. Burress was retired from the Printing Industry as a Cutter Operator and served in the U.S. Marine Corp.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Mattingly Burress; son Brent Burress, Clarksville; daughter, Dana Blasi, Louisville, KY; brothers, Paul Burress, Jeffersonville, Donald Burress, Borden, Harry and John Burress both of Clarksville; sisters, Evelyn Sutton, Sonora, KY, Mary Hurst and Debra Cole both of Jeffersonville; three grandchildren.
