Charles Winfred Burgin

Charles Winfred Burgin 85 of Nabb, IN passed away on Monday June 12, 2023, at Hickory Creek Healthcare in Scottsburg, IN.

He was born on August 19, 1937, in Bloomfield, KY to James Gilbert and Opha Ruby Burgin.

He was a retired farmer and school bus driver for many years.  Charles was preceded in death by his wives, Agnes McDevitt Burgin and Shirley Bower Burgin; brother, Steve Burgin and a sister, Phyllis Rose.

Survivors include his sons, Charles R. Burgin (Phyllis) of Marysville, IN, Doug Burgin (Ellen) of Marysville and Edward Burgin (Teresa) of Nabb; step daughter, Jamie Baird (Stuart) of Nabb, brother, Jim Burgin (Sylvia) of Nabb, David Burgin (Elizabeth) of Borden, IN; sisters, Patricia Reis of Nabb, Brenda Yount of Scottsburg and Freda King (Dick) of Hamilton, OH; 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Life Celebration Services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday June 17, 2023, at Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday and after 9:00 am on Saturday.
