Charles Joseph Brown

Charles Joseph Brown, 51 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Friday, June 21, 2019 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital.

He was born on September 10, 1967 in Madoc, IN to James L., Sr. and Barbara (Wright) Brown.  He was a Union Carpenter with Local #175.

Preceded in death by his parents, brother, Steve Brown; and sister, Carol Dunaway.

Survivors include his wife, Anita (Roark) Brown; son, Jacob Thomas Brown of Charlestown; step-children, Nacole Morrow (Jessie) of Charlestown, IN, Erica Payne (Logan) of Henryville, IN, Christopher Williams (Ashley) of Charlestown, IN; brothers, James L. Brown, Jr. (Marilyn) of Florida, Joseph L. Brown (Margaret) of Virginia, Kelly G. Brown of Rushville, IN, Christopher A. Brown of Tacoma, WA; sisters, Linda Bingham of Indianapolis, IN, Cherri R. Edwards (Steve) of Elkhart, IN, Karen S. Wright of Elkhart, IN, and Kathi M. Mobley of North Vernon, IN; grandchildren, Daisy Eve and Mila Franklin; best friend, Jim Murphy.

Life Celebration Service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, June 26, 2019 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, IN with burial in Charlestown Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday.
