Cecilia Ann (Sprigler) Schindler

Cecilia Ann Schindler 72 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Saturday July 15, 2023, at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN.

She was born on February 11, 1951, in New Albany, IN to Raymond and Gertrude Sprigler.  She was a bookkeeper and homemaker and member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Charlestown. She enjoyed quilting, raising a garden and spending time with her family.  She was preceded in death by her son in law Glenn Hostetler.

Cecilia is survived by her husband, Lawrence Schindler; daughter, Sandra Hostetler of Marysville, IN; son, Benjamin Schindler (Tracy) of Charlestown; sisters, Priscilla Meek (Terry) of Floyds Knobs, IN, Sylvia Kruer of Starlight, IN and Joan Ruff of Jeffersonville, IN; brothers, Chris Sprigler (Angela) of Floyds Knobs, Simon Sprigler (Wendy) of Orleans, IN and Danny Sprigler of Floyds Knobs; grandson Liam Hostetler.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday July 20, 2023, at St. Michael Catholic Church with burial in St. Michael Cemetery.  Visitation will be at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday and from 9:00 am to 9:30 am on Thursday.
