Cathy Lynn Gillespie, 57 of Charlestown died Friday June 8, 2012 at Clark County Rehab and Nursing Center in Clarksville, IN.
Cathy was born on March 31, 1955 in Harlan County, Kentucky to Steve and Dasie Mitchell Nichols. She was a former cook for Jerry’s Restaurant in Jeffersonville, IN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Steve Nichols and a sister Betty Burns.
She is survived by her sons Daniel Gillespie of Jeffersonville and Josh Gillespie of Louisville, KY, brothers; Jake Nichols of Charlestown, Bill Nichols of Missouri, Nink Nichols of Oregon, Eddie Nichols of Santa Claus, IN and James Nichols of Charlestown, sisters; Peggy Burden and Jewell Keaton both of Otisco, IN, Ruth Troutman of Lebanon, TN and Mavis Hershey of Oregon.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday June 10, 2012 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown. Visitation will be held after 11 a.m. on Sunday.
