Carry Eugene Stargel

Carry Eugene Stargel, 86, of New Albany, IN, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021 at Sellersburg Healthcare Center.

He was born on April 15, 1934 in Miller Field, KY to James and Mary McQuearry Stargel.

Mr. Stargel was an United States Army Veteran, a retired assembly line worker for International Harvester and was a member of the Pearl Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Carry is survived by his daughters, Maria (Mike) Thompson of Jeffersonville, IN and Karen Stargel of New Albany;;  Sons, Ronald Stargel of New Albany and Steven (Linda) Stargel of Sawanee, TN; sisters, Dale Hennsley of Columbus,IN and Nancy Payne of Kokomo, IN;  7 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be at 2:30 pm on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at the Grayson Funeral Home with burial to follow at Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm on Thursday.
