Carroll Burnette (Cb) Adams

Carroll Burnette (C.B.) Adams, 71 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Saturday July 11, 2015 at University of Louisville Hospital surrounded by family and friends.
He was born on October 18, 1943 in Letcher County, KY to Burnette and Lorene Standifer Adams. He retired from BellSouth after working as an installer and repairman for 35 years. He was a member of the North Charlestown Church of God, American Legion Post 335, VFW Post 1427 and was an active member of the American Legion/VFW Color Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Darrell Adams and sister Janice Adams.
Carroll is survived by his wife of 49 years Delores Murphy Adams, daughters, Dianne Wimsett (Rob), Cindy Heath (Rob) and Angela Roberts (Ryan) all of Charlestown and eleven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday July 15, 2015 at Grayson Funeral Home with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. on Wednesday.
