Carolyn Jo Lilly, 74 of Sellersburg, IN and formerly of Charlestown, IN passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Golden Living Center of Hillcreek in Louisville, KY.
Jo was born on April 16, 1940 the daughter of Everett and Sara Adelia Bare Spencer. She formerly worked as a secretary for Charlestown High School and the Paul Schultz Marketing Co. in Louisville, KY. Jo was a former member of the Jeffersonville Elks Club, enjoyed golf, traveling, attending the Charlestown High School Alumni Dances and owned and operated her own Antique Shop.
Survivors include her daughters, Teresa Sue Lilly-Krawiec of Sellersburg, IN and Kimberly Lilly Horine(Gordon) of Charlestown; sons, Mark Lilly of Jacksonville, FL and Harold Lilly of San Francisco, CA; sisters, Anna Mae Lewis and Judy Lynn both of Charlestown; brother, Glenn Spencer of Charlestown; grandchildren, Heather, Jason, Jessica, Bruce, Jeffery, Kelly, Matthew and Elizabeth; great-grandchildren, Devyn, Ashtyn, Brianna, Jayden, Rylee, Bryton, Darcey and Fynley; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Norma Miller.
Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. and on Sunday after 2:00 P.M. until time of services. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Jo may take the form of donations to Crusade for Children.
