Carl David Rhoten, 70 of Marysville, IN passed away on Friday December 25, 2015 at his home.
Carl was born on August 28, 1945 in Scottsburg, IN to William J. and Clarice Helzer Rhoten.
He was an Army veteran and member of the Marysville Christian Church, Paralyzed Veterans of America in both Kentucky and Indiana, and a member of the American Legion Post 35 in Sellersburg, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Melvin Rhoten.
Survivors include his brothers, Leon Rhoten (Loretta) of Charlestown and Larry Stephen Rhoten of Marysville; sister, Esther Wheeler (Larry) of London, OH and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews along with a host of cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday December 30, 2015 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, IN with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 pm to 8 pm on Tuesday and after 9 am on Wednesday.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to his dear friends, the doctors and nurses at the VA Hospital and the staff at Amedisys Home Healthcare and Amedisys Hospice Care.
