Brittney Leigh West, 32, of Jeffersonville, passed away on May 14, 2016, at Clark Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on September 26, 1983. Brittney served several years as an emergency medical technician in Indiana and Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles David Fay III; her grandfather, Reggie Greenwell; Aunts Saundra Nifong and Laurie Florence. Brittney's organs were donated to Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates.
She is survived by her husband, Louis Dion West of Jeffersonville, IN; children, Ethan Shewmaker and Kynton West both of Jeffersonville, IN; parents, Marilyn and Michael Greenwell of Jeffersonville, IN; grandmothers, Shirley Armstrong (Art) of Charlestown, IN, Patsy Greenwell of Bardstown, KY, and Nancy Fay of Corona, CA; step-sons, Lewis Tyler West and Josh Taylor West both of Jeffersonville, IN; step-daughter, Elizabeth West of Jeffersonville, IN; step-grandfather, Lee Duncan; half- sister, Christy Meyers; uncle James Duddy (Lesley); aunt Connie Hardy (Todd); nephew, Justice Brown; niece, Skylar Belden; and many precious cousins and dear friends.
Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 6:30pm at the Park Memorial United Methodist Church 1820 Park Place, Jeffersonville. Visitation will begin after 2pm on Tuesday till time of service at the church. Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown handling arrangements.
Expressions of sympathy may be directed to the WHAS Crusade for Children.
