Brenda G Colwell

Brenda G. Colwell, 69, of New Washington, IN passed away on September 12, 2021, at her residence.  She was born on October 8, 1951, in Hazard, KY to Luther and Sophia Young Standafer.  She enjoyed gardening and sewing and was employed in a sewing factory. Brenda was a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children, Sophia Harper and husband Kevin of Charlestown, Patty Colwell Stoner and husband Dennis of New Washington, Billy Colwell and wife Lisa of Charlestown and Cricket Jackson of New Washington; her siblings, Ronald, Doyle, Patty, Sheila, and Frankie Darlene; 16 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul Colwell; and siblings, Doug, Donald, Shim and Phyllis.
