Brenda Kay (Adams) Becknell

Brenda Kay Becknell 71 of Charlestown passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022, at Sellersburg Healthcare Center.

She was born on April 10, 1951, in Liberty, KY to William R. and Pina Fair Adams.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Jason Becknell; granddaughter, December Michelle Becknell; brothers, Bobby Adams, Steve Adams, and Kent Adams and a sister Jeanne Staley.

Brenda is survived by her husband, James Becknell; son Michael Becknell and his wife Laura of Sellersburg, IN; daughter-in-law, Melissa Becknell of Charlestown; grandchildren, Emily Short and her husband Patrick, Jordan Becknell, Connor Becknell, Chris Gabbard, Gracie Gabbard, and Briana Becknell; great-grandchildren, Carter, Kurtis, and Chloe.

Life Celebration Services will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Grayson Funeral Home with burial in Charlestown Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday.
