Bonnie Edra Hecker, 79, of Charlestown died Sunday Oct 7 at the home of her daughter in Sellersburg
She was born on May 5, 1933 in Monticello, KY to Ova Hoyt and Maggie Barrett Webb. She was a homemaker, a member of the VFW Auxiliary, and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, Jack Hecker; sons Michael R. Hecker of Charlestown, Larry J. Hecker (Bobbi Higdon) of Andros, Bahamas; daughters: Rebecca S. Duvall (Danny) of Otisco, IN, Jenny L. Summitt (David) of Sellersburg, Trina K. Patterson (Randy) of Charlestown, and Jackie L. Johnson (James) of Tequesta, FL; brothers Russell Webb and Otis Webb; sisters Dorothy Williams and Jenny Chiesa and 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Lester Webb, a daughter Roberta Robertson, and a grandson Michael Neil Hecker
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 2pm at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial to follow in Silver Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 1-8pm and on Thursday beginning at 11am.
