Bobbie Jean (Frazier) Hawkins

Bobbie Jean Hawkins 92, of Charlestown, IN passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2024.

She was born on February 2, 1932, in Kings Creek, KY to Henry and Pearlie Boggs Frazier. She was a graduate of Charlestown High School Class of 1951 and enjoyed attending the alumni banquets.  She was a former telephone operator for DuPont, a former employee of the Indiana Army Ammunition Plant where she worked in the Weigh, Bag, and Sew department, and for the Emblem Cap Company as an embroiderer.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Hawkins; great-granddaughter, Alexis Laso; siblings, Dixie Dallas (Binkley), Dana Combs (Elmer), Sol Frazier (Frances), Murl Frazier (Nina), and a sister-in-law, Norma Frazier.

Bobbie is survived by her children, Janice Zoeller of Charlestown, Sherry (Steve) Coyne of Charlestown; brother, Odell Frazier of New Johnsonville, TN; grandchildren, Amy Zoeller Murphy (Gary), John Zoeller, III, Brittney Laso (Michael) and Steven Coyne (Brittany); great-grandchildren, Braiden Murphy (Addison), Gracie Johnson (Derrick), Gary Murphy III, Brantley Zoeller, Bennett Zoeller, Brayden Laso, Rowan Laso, Avery Laso; great-great-grandson, Aubre Murphy and sister in law, Nancy Hawkins of Sellersburg, IN; and several nieces and nephews.

Life Celebration Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Tuesday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
