Bob Schindler

Bob Schindler, age 74 of New Washington, Indiana, passed May 3rd, 2018 at home. Bob was born February 21st, 1944 in Speed, Indiana. The son of Robert E. and Cecilia Schindler.  He was a builder by trade and had many titles:  Bob, Dad, Uncle Bob, Grandpa, and Pappaw. Survived by his wife, three daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, siblings. Wife Paula Schindler of New Washington, Indiana. Daughters Diana Hostetler (Kevin) of Bloomington, Indiana; Angela Marcum (Brian) of Crestwood, Kentucky; and Janice Stethen (Tim) of New Washington, Indiana. Grandchildren Alyza (Graham), Kaitlyn, Collin, Sydnee, and Kevin Jack. Great-Grandchildren and siblings Delores, Betty, Rosie, Catherine, Patty, David, George, and Danny. He had a large, wonderful family. He was preceded in death by his parents and sons Robert Kevin Schindler and James Michael Schindler.

Gathering of family and friends will be held Sunday, May 6th from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Grayson  Funeral Home in Charlestown, Indiana. Private memorial services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please make donations in memory of Bob to Hosparus of Southern Indiana 624 East Market St. New Albany, IN.
