She was born on February 7, 1929 in Wayne County, Indiana and passed away Friday February 12, 2010 at Clark Memorial Hospital.
She was a former seamstress and a member of Bethany Christian Church and was preceded in death by her parents Fayette and Dossie Payne Powel and her husband Howard Haley.
She is survived by her son; Steve (June) Haley of Otisco and daughter Linda (Marvin) Casey of Sellersburg, brother; Bill Powell of Lexington, KY., sisters: Grovena Speaks of Paragon, IN and Garnett Wade of Lexington, KY., grandchildren; Andy, Chris and Angela Casey, and Steven, Ronald and David Haley, great grandchildren; Andrew, Gloria, Zachary and Samantha Haley, Hunter, Katie and Holley Casey, Gage Whitham, Ryanne and Alivia Rose.
