Betty L. Crum, 68 of Charlestown passed away on Friday, October 23, 2015 at the Kentuckiana Medical Center.
Betty was born July 26, 1947 in Clark County, IN the daughter of Charles Baldwin and Nina O. Abaney Baldwin. She was a former employee of the Hanover Nursing Center in Hanover, IN and the Jeffersonville Kroger Store. Betty attended the Pleasantview Baptist Church and was an avid Bingo Player.
Survivors include her husband, Roger Crum; daughters, Teresa Whitt of Marysville, IN and Alma Baldwin of Charlestown; sons, Roger “Butch” Crum, Jr. of Otisco, IN, Richard Crum of Marysville, IN and David Crum of Charlestown; Thomas Baldwin Jr. a nephew whom she raised; 16 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Lisa Ireland Flynn and Debbie Hooker; brothers, James Weidner and Ricky Hooker. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, Donald Weidner, son George Crum, brothers, Tommy Baldwin and Steve Hooker.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Old Salem Cemetery in Charlestown. Visitation will be held on Wednesday beginning at 1:00 P.M. until time of services.
