Betty Jane (Cochran) Chapman

Betty Jane Chapman, 76, of Charlestown, IN passed away on September 3, 2022, at her home in Charlestown.

She was born on January 29, 1946, in Raven, Virginia to John V. and Ruth E. Hill Cochran.  She was a homemaker and preceded in death by her first husband, David Lambert, Sr., second husband, Dale Francis Chapman, children, Patricia Wisman and James Lambert and granddaughter, Joanna Boyd.

Betty is survived by her son, David Lambert, Jr., of Charlestown, daughters, JoAnn Bramer of Charlestown and Tonia Pedigo (Harvey) of Clarkson, KY; grandchildren, Tiffany Ross, James A, Rakes, III, Robert Hardesty, Jessica Hardesty, Nevaeh Boyd; great grandchildren, Brianna Ross and Noah Hardesty.

Life Celebration Services will be at 1:30 pm on Friday September 9, 2022, at Grayson Funeral Home with burial in Old Salem Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm on Friday.
