Betty Jean (Stone) Bussey

Betty Jean Bussey 83, of Charlestown, IN passed away on Tuesday November 9, 2021, at Sellersburg Healthcare Center in Sellersburg, IN.

She was born on October 4, 1938, in Indianapolis, IN to Louis and Dorothy Jones Stone.  She was a retired cashier for Walmart and a member of Main Cross Baptist Church in Charlestown.

Survivors include her sons, Mitchell Hensley of Charlestown, Lloyd Bussey (Cherry) of Louisville, KY, Thomas Hensley of Greenville, TN and Gregory Hensley of Pendleton, IN; step-son, Donald Bussey of Charlestown; step daughters, Donna Burkhead of Charlestown and Debbie Gilbert of Marysville, IN; brothers, Louis Stone of Indiana and Kenneth Stone of Texas; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Floyd Bussey.

Life Celebration Services will be at 2:30 pm on Saturday November 13, 2021, at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday and after 12:00 pm on Saturday.
