Ben K. Jenkins, 81 of Madison, IN and formerly of Bethlehem, IN passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at the Kentuckiana Medical Center in Jeffersonville, IN.
Ben was born on June 4, 1932 the son of Ulysses Grant and Mary Belle Head Jenkins. He was a retired Farmer and formerly worked at the old ICI of Americas Inc. located in Charlestown, IN. Ben enjoyed photography and was a member of the National Rifle Association.
Survivors include his brother, Ulysses “Dutch” Jenkins of Hibernia, IN and several nieces and nephews. Ben was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Sallie “Linda” Craigmyle; brothers, David, Wells and William Grant Jenkins.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the Bethlehem Cemetery in Bethlehem, IN. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Ben may take the form of donations to Bethlehem Cemetery Association at P. O. Box 224, New Washington, In. 47162. Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington, IN is in charge of arrangements.
