Beatrice Cheek Milligan, 94 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Maple Manor Christian Home in Sellersburg, IN.
Mrs. Milligan was born on April 4, 1922 in Laurens County, S.C. the daughter of Giroud C. and Effie Cook Cheek. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Ware Shoals, SC where she lived most of her life and retired from Riegel Textile Corporation.
Survivors include her daughter, Priscilla A. Crawford of Charlestown; sister Rebekah Cheek Timms of Greenwood, S.C.; nine grandchildren, Paul, Adam, Sandra, Damien, Amy, Vanessa, Alex, Amanda and Carissa; ten great-grandchildren, Dustin, Megan, Alyssa, Addison, Austin, Jennifer, Randall, Arizona, Seth and Ariana; three great-great-grandchildren, Kayleigh, Alyssa and Skyla Grace. Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents, sons, Michael Knox, Daryl and Bruce Crawford; brother, Shelton Earl Cheek.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, May 20, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, IN. Visitation will begin at 2:00 P.M. on Friday until the time of services. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the First Baptist Church in Ware Shoals, S.C. or charity of choice.
