Barney Allen Jones, Jr., 79, of Jeffersonville, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at his home.
He was born on April 9, 1933 to Barney A. Jones, Sr. and Mary Ellen Powell Jones in
Jefferson Co., KY. He was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War, and a retired co-owner of Bethlehem Packaging and Die Cutting.
He is preceded in death by his parents, 12 siblings, and his grandson, B.J. Denney.
Survivors include his wife, Anna Lee Corbin Jones; daughter, Vicky Denney (John) of Jeffersonville, IN; granddaughter, Alicia Kane of Jeffersonville, IN; great-grandchildren, Ashlyn and Alexander “Jak” Kane both of Jeffersonville, IN.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 12pm at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown. Visitation will be after 9am on Thursday at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 3pm on Thursday at Highland Memory Gardens, 279 Landis Lane, Mt. Washington, KY.
