Barbara Dee Lawrence, 79 of Charlestown passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Kentuckiana Medical Center.
Barbara was born on January 5, 1936 in Rockport, IN the daughter of William Andrew and Hazel Irene Wangler Cron. She formerly worked at Key Market and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Charlestown.
Survivors include her daughter, Amanda Lawrence of Charlestown; sons, Robin Lawrence of Charlestown and Leslie Lawrence of Clarksville, IN; sisters, Nell Quire of Charlestown and Patsy McCartin of New Albany, IN; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joe Lawrence and a daughter, Dorothy Smith.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
