Barbara Ann Beach, 83, of Charlestown passed away on Friday May 13, 2016 at Providence Retirement Home in New Albany.
She was born on July 25, 1932 in Louisville, KY to Gilbert and Mary A. Tinker Friess. She was a former Secretary at the Census Bureau and a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church. Barbara was an avid card player, and UK fan and Cincinnati Reds fan. She loved to cook and truly enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Beach; daughter, Becky Vibbert,; and son, Terry Beach.
She is survived by her daughters, Cinde DeCamp and Mary Pat Beach (Paul); son, Danny Beach (Beth); son-in-law Kenny Vibbert and daughter-in-law, Cheryl Beach; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grand children.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday May 17, 2016 at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Charlestown with burial in St. Michael Cemetery. Visitation will be at Grayson Funeral Home fro 4 pm to 8 pm on Monday and after 9 am on Tuesday.
