Barbara Hallie Allen

Barbara Hallie Allen, 74, of Charlestown, IN, passed away on October 13, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born on August 11, 1950, in Harrisburg, PA, to the late Charles and Barbara Powers, Barbara lived a life full of love and warmth. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, John Allen.

Barbara is survived by her three devoted daughters: Susan (Clark) Bottorff, Becky Kelly, and Bonnie Allen. Her legacy continues through her six cherished grandchildren: Tim (Mindy) Barnes, Brittany Fischer, Megan Nolot, Spencer Kelly, Gage Martin, and Tyrah Martin; and six beloved great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her brother Ed (Louise) Powers, and three sisters, Debbie (Mike) Brown, Caroline Macy, and Mary Powers.

Barbara's life was a testament to love, kindness, and family. Her presence brought joy and comfort to everyone who knew her. A life celebration will be held at a later date, where friends and family will gather to honor and remember the beautiful life she lived.
