Arvil Conley

Arvil Conley, 90, formerly of Otisco passed away Sunday June 5, 2011 at Clark Memorial Hospital. He was born on October 13, 1920 in Prestonsburg, KY to Watt and Grace Mosley Conley. He was preceded in death by his parents and loving wife of 63 years Ruby Conley. He retired from the U.S. Army having served in World War II and Korea, and retired from the old Armored Car Co. in Louisville. He was a member of the North Charlestown Church of God, VFW Post 1427 and the American Legion Post 335. Survivors include his daughter Patricia Andres of Louisville, sons; John Conley of Otisco and Kenneth Conley of Fayetteville, NC., brothers; Glen Conley of Sandusky, OH and Elmer Conley of Ohio. Sisters; Bonnie Petrovich of Springfield, IL and Alma Buress of Florida and 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery.
