Arthur Edward Vogt

Mr. Vogt, 86, died Monday, December 29, 2008 at Providence Retirement Home in New Albany, IN.

He was born on January 14, 1922 in Louisville, KY the son of Arthur Edward Sr. and Nadine Powers Vogt who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his first wife Angela Vogt. Mr. Vogt was retired
from the US Army Reserve Center in Louisville, KY. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, retired from the Charlestown Volunteer Fire Dept., the Clark County Sheriff's Dept. and retired as a Command Sergeant Major of the US Army Reserves.

He is survived by his wife Judith Vogt, Jeffersonville, IN; daughter Sharon Satterly (Harold), Clarksville, IN; sons Phil Vogt (Debbie), Sellersburg, IN and John Vogt (Jane), Auburn, IN; step-sons Mark Kincaid (Angie), Ocala, FL and Klinie Kent (Cali), Santa Rosa, CA; brother Donald L. Vogt Sr. (Betty), Mission, TX; sister Betty Faber (Duke), Louisville, KY; 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
