Arthur L. Stewart

Arthur L. Stewart, 90 of New Albany, IN and formerly of Charlestown, IN passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at Lincoln Hills Health Center in New Albany, IN.
Arthur was born on June 25, 1927 in Kentucky. He was a retired Security Guard and former Truck Driver was known by many as Papa Smurf. Arthur loved to tell stories and had the ability to make people around him laugh.
Art had several family members who have preceded him in death including his wife Bernice Stewart in 2013. He is also survived by several family members including his sister and brother-in-law Daniel and Bonnie Davis of New Albany, IN.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Ebenezer Cemetery in Henryville, IN. Visitation will also be held on Wednesday beginning at 11:00 A.M. until the time of services.
