Arlie Gene Hall 82 of Charlestown, IN and formerly of Wabash, IN passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022, at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN.

He was born on November 14, 1939, in Floyd County, KY to Lee and Martha Newsom Hall.  Arlie retired from The Container Corporation in Wabash after 40 years and attended Main Cross Baptist Church in Charlestown.  He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, yard work, family cookouts and feeding birds.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth Hall; bonus child, Pammy Green; siblings, Grethel, Annie, James, Carl, Delmar, Willie, Earnest, Garnest, Sillar and Marie.

Arlie is survived by his wife, Trudy Hall, children Arleen French and her husband Richard of Wabash and Beverley Webb and her husband Bryan of Randleman, NC; bonus children, Bernadette Dean of Charlestown, Ronnie Hill and his wife Nicole of Alabama, Bonnie Dupont and her husband Tom of St. Cloud, FL, Diana Justice and her husband James of Charlestown, Robbie Auxier and her husband Pat of Hanover, Sharon Shepherd of Charlestown, Karen Whitehead of Charlestown and Tammy McCubbins and her husband Damon of Charlestown; brother, Bobby Hall of Ohio and 30 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.

Life Celebration Services will be at 5:00 pm on Tuesday August 23, 2022, at Grayson Funeral Home with visitation from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.  An additional service will be at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Home in Wabash on Thursday at 2:00 pm with visitation from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.  Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery in Wabash.
