April M. (Twigg) Burks

April M. Burks 43 of Scottsburg, IN passed away on Saturday November 20, 2021, at Baptist Health Louisville.

She was born on November 3, 1978, in Jeffersonville, IN and was a member of Main Cross Baptist Church in Charlestown, IN. She was preceded in death by her children, Isabella Rayburn, Ashton Budd and Isaiah Budd, her brother, Christopher Twigg, grandparents, J. O. and Marilyn Huttelmayer, Adelaide Twigg-Bishop.

Survivors include her husband, Chris Burks; sons, Alexander Brummet of Jeffersonville, Adrian Brummet and his fiancé, Krysta of Scottsburg, Zachary Burks of Otisco, IN and Joshua Burks of Otisco; daughters, Abby Brummet of McKee, KY and Angel Burks of Otisco, Shawna Budd; mother and stepfather, Marilyn and Keith Lyle of Charlestown, niece, Renea Twigg of Charlestown; stepfather, Barry Mann of New Albany, IN; grandchildren, Rayden and Nevaeh Brummet and many other Loved Ones and Friends.

Life Celebration Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday November 24, 2021, at Main Cross Baptist Church with burial in Charlestown Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown and after 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the church.
