Mr. Falkenstein, 65, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2009.
He was born on April 1, 1943 in Louisville, KY the son of James Monroe and Mary Vincent Caradonna Falkenstein. Mr. Falkenstein
was an investment advisor, former employee of Hilliard Lyons, retired from Prudential Insurance Co., and associated with Ohio National Insurance of Louisville. He was a member of the New Chapel United Methodist Church, Jeffersonville Optimist Club, and a retired volunteer fireman for the McCullough Fire Dept. for several years.
He is survived by his wife the former Jane Schulz, Charlestown; daughter Roberta Steutermann, Crestwood, KY; mother Mary V. Falkenstein, New Albany, IN; brother Robert Falkenstein, Portland, OR; step-son Jamie Kellum, Sulpher, IN; step-daughter Angela Kidwell, Jeffersonville, IN; 6 gandchildren Nicholas, Benjamin, Lucy, Ashley, Jordan, Jagger.
